We would appreciate your prayers for the work of church planting and strengthening in Wales.  You can download a copy of these prayer points for use in a church service or prayer meeting.

Pray for the planting of a new Welsh language church in Swansea.  This is a project of the Baptist Union of Wales, supported by the West Glamorgan Association and Waleswide.  Church Planter Derek Rees is spearheading the initiative and will have a core group around him to help, advise and encourage.

• Pray for the project in these tentative early months – as research is undertaken, as new relationships are forged and the project gains momentum.
• Pray for Derek as he settles into a new community and networks to develop new relationships.
• Pray also for those who will be working alongside Derek from the Association, the BUW and Waleswide.
• Pray that this new initiative would be used by God to reach Welsh speakers who have never responded to Christ.
